Chaos

CHAOS - This word usually gives us the feel of a busy environment wherein hundred things are happening at a single time and our brain cannot analyze this and thus terms it as chaos... or a situation created by humans ...where in some other person is not able to handle or balance... and is termed as CHAOS.......

but to my awe... this term has a special significance in Maths too...
now being a maths honor student......it seemed to glue to me that fact that this irritating word can have mathematical significance....

all this came to my mind when i was seeing the Movie CHAOS... starring John Statham (The Transporter guy), Ryan Phillipe... (one cutie pie) , where in the movie is about robbing a bank and then series of murders of the people involved in robbing a bank... and then finally the end.. wherein it is drawn upon to the attention of movie viewers.... that nothing seemed as the movie showed... but altogether a differnet motive....

now if u may get confused...or something... i trully recommmend this one movie... because this is the one of those movies...where the bad guy wins... (psst the grayer shade of the hero.. is the bad guy actually)... and that the movie doesnt have a fairytale ending.... and many such distractive... deviations.... which do not happen in normal movies.....

now the relation of Chaos theory of maths and this movie is... that the robber seems to give clues to the good guys... that all the things that seem to be random are not random... and that finally there is a pattern that emerges out of the ... random events taking place.... and that... a person should always consider by..... looking back at random events... to make a series...of events leading to something.... productive....

as in this case....it is somewhere mentioned that....

Chaos theory attempts to explain the fact that complex and unpredictable results can and will occur in systems that are sensitive to their initial conditions. A common example of this is known as the Butterfly Effect. It states that, in theory, the flutter of a butterfly's wings in China could, in fact, actually effect weather patterns in New York City, thousands of miles away. In other words, it is possible that a very small occurance can produce unpredictable and sometimes drastic results by triggering a series of increasingly significant events.

This all relation...mind you awed... me in the first look ... and then i gave a thought to myself... as well as ...pretty little things here and there.... which actually seemed.... to correlate to each other....

anyway.... the purpose to this blog...also is.... that im a hard core fan of english movies... and i always end up watching atleast one english movie each day... and sometimes three a day....

but why m i so... i would like to mention... man... these hollywood'ers... can think and put in on paper... as well as screen... any movie.... except the truly dreadful ones..... are made just too perfectly.... and really make sense.... and the topics are so diverse... and interesting... and so well researched... and well made.... i mean ... a person like me... can learn so many things... as well .... be well imaginative...for such types.. of work too....

ooh man...i wish i could see...each and very movie..... produced... and released....

Amen to that..... and till then CUT!!!!!!!!!

  1. Chaos theory... sounds interesting. But does it apply to 'Organized chaos' too? 'Ceteris paribus' will the outcome of organized chaos be the same as predicted by Chaos theory? I am just adding some economic undertones to a mathematical theory and trying to figure out if it leads us to 'Economical Mathematics' or 'Mathematical Economics'...
