Single Handedly....

Location : State bank of India, Borivali East branch.
Time : 10.30 am

A Place where i enterd at the mentioned date and time, gave me apicture of heavyly crowded branch with people of all ages sizes and purse size were occupying all the space available in the vicinity as wel as trying push in some spac e for the AC airwaves to hit them at those spots where each individual was feeling most Hot and was Sweating...

At the that time , i was trying to figure out, what to do, why exactly am i here, and how do i go about it and was trying to grasp, at which window/counter what takes place!

But since all windows had the board as Single Counter No ..
i was little confused..

so as any normal person would do, i turned left and t my relief i saw, a Enquiry Table and Helpdesk Board just above the left corner, and since there were many people covering the that area in a semi circular position , i could not see the person who was finally going to help me.

After much patience,... and getting pushes... form all the side.. i managed to barge in the semi circular crowd and get my fair share of a space.

To my shock/suprise/or rite now im not getting the exact emotion but nonetheless ...i saw a physically challenegd... lady siiting on the counter.

That lady did not have a left hand...and yet she was working as efficiently as person with two hands would do.

Now to the dismal showcase of the management or the branch officals who are her seniors... all the work that was given to this lady on that counter was ranging from everything...

form balance enquiry, o providing all sorts of forms for purposes, giving out tokens, and then data entry for some other special reasons.... and then on top of that...managing the poeples... give and take of papers..

now as normal brain functioning... any person having limitations on side of the body will try to work utmost form the other side...right?

but here he management has designed the space so well that this lady had everthing on the left hand side... and that all the necessary things were on the left side too...

the form were kept on left hand side.... all the drawers to the desk were on left hand side.. the pc was on left hand side... luckily.. the mouse was on the right hand side... the keyboard that was fixed wa on the left side too... and yet she managed with ease... and yet no worries or irritation was shown on the face....

i gave her pretty ample time to attend me..since i had this soft spot ofr this lady and to the condition she was working in.... but as soon as she got my emotional vibes.. it seemed it hurt her ... as any normal person would feel... and she yelled in a rude voice...
'kya chahiye... jaldi bolo... aur gardi mat badao...'!

i told her all my issues... and she gave me all quick solutions... and gave me an expression that i mite as well leave and not give her sympathetic looks...

so all in all... my work was done... and all in due time... yes there was a bit crowdy irriation i was getting.... and that customer service is always last on SBI's mind, but nevertheless...

i saw a perfomance which was managed SINGLE HANDEDLY ...... :)
